About the Authors
Diane Dawber Diane Dawber (1946- ) earned a Masters of Education degree from Queen's University and now writes near Kingston. Among her whimsically named children's books are "Oatmeal Mittens" (1987, Borealis), "How Do You Wrestle a Goldfish?" (1997, Borealis) and "My Cake's On Fire!" (2001, Borealis). She has also written anthologies, poetry and books for health-conscious adults -- having survived a disabling illness, she now does public lectures on dealing with pain and fatigue.
